“The K1million sponsorship is for the Friday tournament but we are looking forward to a three-year partnership for a national competition,” she said.

Junior golfers coach Dingaan Chirwa, who was accompanied by National Junior Golf Committee (South) general secretary Charmaine van Derwalt, thanked Alliance Capital for the support.

Hillview, Phoenix, Royal Heritage and St Andrew’s, will compete for medals alongside a mixed team that comprises children from various public schools. At least 60 children will take part in the tournament.
